Zum Tag der offenen Tür bei der Modellbahnfirma Piko kamen am 20. Juni 2009 mehrere Sonderzüge nach Sonneberg in Thüringen. Unter Ihnen war auch ein Dampfzug, bespannt mit Baureihe 03, aus Stuttgart, an dessen Ende Lok 139 310-7 des Unternehmens Lokomotion hing. Am Abend zog die Lok den Dampfzug zurück in seine Heimat.

Nach der Ankunft in Sonneberg konnte des Zug mit Lokomotion Lok 139 310-7 im Bahnhof bestaunt werden, während die Dampflok 03 2295-8 ins nahe gelegene Betriebswerk rollte.
