Das kleine Gebäude steht irgendwo an einem Ortsrand im Südwesten der USA. / The small building is somewhere on the outskirts of a town in the southwest of the United States.
Ob Andrew Irgendwann die Zeit findet den alten Ford zu restaurieren? / Will Andrew ever find the time to restore the old Ford?	Großmutter hat sich im Schaukelstuhl niedergelassen und liest ein Buch. / Grandma has settled into the rocking chair and is reading a book.	Zur damaligen Zeit wurde man noch vom Tankwart begrüßt, der einem das Auto betankte. / At that time you were greeted by the gas station attendant who filled up your car.
Auf einer Holzplatte von ca. 30 x 40 cm entstand das Diorama rund um Speedy Andrew's Repairshop. Das Gebäude stammt von Pola und wurde in den USA von verschiedenen Anbietern unverändert übernommen (A.H.M., Tyco,...). Ich habe es komplett neu bemalt und in der Werkstatt einen Dachstuhl mit zwei Lampen eingebaut. Des weiteren wurde die Werkstatt komplett eingerichtet. Mittlerweile hat Andrew auch ein paar Zapfsäulen der Mineralölkette Route 66 aufgestellt. So können seine Kunden bei ihm auch Benzin bekommen. Neben der Werkstatt hat sich jede Menge Schrott angesammelt, unter anderem auch ein alter Ford Modell AA, der irgendwann mal restauriert werden soll...	Idyllisch liegt das kleine Häuschen am Straßenrand. / The small house is idyllically situated on the side of the road.	The diorama around Speedy Andrew's repair shop was created on a wooden panel of approx. 30 x 40 cm. The building comes from Pola and was taken over unchanged by various providers in the USA (A.H.M., Tyco,...). I completely repainted it and installed a roof truss with two lamps in the workshop. Furthermore, the workshop was completely furnished. Meanwhile, Andrew has also set up a couple of petrol pumps for the Route 66 petroleum chain. So his customers can also get petrol from him. A lot of scrap has accumulated next to the workshop, including an old Ford model AA that is to be restored at some time...

Die Werkstatt wurde mit verschiedenen Sachen eingerichtet. / The workshop was set up with various things.	Gut passen die alten CMW Fahrzeuge, hier kann man die Motorhaube öffnen. / The old CMW vehicles fit well, you can open the bonnet here.	Hoffen wir mal das der alte Hudson repariert werden kann und schnell wieder zurück auf der Straße ist. / Let's hope the old Hudson gets fixed and gets back on the road quickly.

Vielleicht rollt der alte Ford irgendwann mal wieder über die Straßen, verdient hätte er es. / Maybe the old Ford will be back on the streets at some point, it deserves it.
Mit seinem Buick Roadmaster ist Farmer Smith gerade an den Zapfsäulen vorgefahren. / Farmer Smith has just pulled up to the pumps in his Buick Roadmaster.	Zur damaligen Zeit reichten die zwei Zapfsäulen noch aus. / At that time, the two pumps were still sufficient.	Ein kleiner Plausch war immer willkommen. / A little chat was always welcome.
Hinter dem Gebäude beginnt das weite Land. Wir wissen nicht wo die nächste Ortschaft liegt. / The vast country begins behind the building. We don't know where the nearest town is.	Man kennt sich in der kleinen Ortschaft und begegnet sich immer freundlich. / People know each other in the small town and always meet each other in a friendly manner.	Wie frisch aus der Fabrik sieht der 1949er Buick Roadmaster aus. / The 1949 Buick Roadmaster looks fresh from the factory.
Zu bestimmten Zeiten herrscht richtig Verkehr auf der Straße. / At certain times there is real traffic on the road.		Ein Ford Pickup ist gerade auf der Straße unterwegs. / A Ford pickup is driving down the street.
