Bei meiner Ankunft am Morgen des 17. Mai 2018 war das Personal schon damit beschäftigt die mächtige 2-10-0 Nummer 90 im Betriebshof anzuheizen.

When I arrived on the morning of May 17, 2018, the staff was already busy heating up the mighty 2-10-0 number 90 in the depot.

Danach rückte die Maschine zum Bahnhof vor.

Aus dem Zugfenster ist hier die Lok auf den Weg nach Paradise, Pennsylvania zum Leaman Place zu sehen.

Am Leaman Place setzt die Maschine um. Gleich darauf geht es zurück nach Strasburg, Pennsylvania.

Ankunft in Strasburg, Pennsylvania. Nach gut 45 Minuten sind die zweimal 4.5 Meilen geschafft und die Lok wird für die nächste Fahrt umgesetzt.

At Leaman Place, the machine moves around to the other end of the train. Immediately afterwards it goes back to Strasburg, Pennsylvania.

Für Rangierarbeiten und kleinere Streckendienste steht Lok Nummer 8618 im Dienst der Strasburg Rail Road.

Locomotive number 8618 is in service by the Strasburg Rail Road for shunting work and smaller route services.

Plymouth 18 tonner:

Für kleinere Rangierarbeiten im Depot ist Lok Nummer 2 in Dienst.

Locomotive number 2 is in service for smaller shunting work in the depot.

Doodlebug:

Mit Beschriftung der Lancaster Oxford and Southern No. 10 stand bei meinen Besuch am 17. Mai 2018 dieser alte Doodlebug auf einen Nebengleis.

With the inscription of Lancaster Oxford and Southern No. 10 this old doodlebug was on a siding when I visit the Strasburg Rail Road on May 17, 2018.

Caboose:

Auch ein alter Zugbegleitwagen (Caboose) der Pennsylvania Railroad war auf dem Gelände der Strasburg Rail Road zu sehen.

An old Pennsylvania Railroad caboose was also seen on the Strasburg Rail Road site.
